Muriel Anderson Guitar Workshop – Fingerstyle Guitar Techniques

***$20 Entry – (BRING YOUR OWN GUITAR)***

A workshop to transform your guitar playing with innovative techniques that Muriel learned directly from Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, Doc Watson, Christopher Parkening, Segovia, Jimmy Page and Merle Travis’s son, Thom Bresh. Muriel will also share her approach to creativity, interpretation, and inspiration. Every participant will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual attention.

Teacher: Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. She is a gifted instructor and has learned from and jammed with legendary musicians in many styles. She tours year-round and has hosted Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night for over 30 years. Her recent release is “Sailing Dreams.”

Includes a free set of GHS signature strings. Bring your guitar, pen & paper and/or recording device. Recommended intermediate level and above, but open to all levels.
